A 1/2-scale recreation of my childhood home at 1751 Easy St., Hanford, CA.. Constructed on-site from memory with lath, 2x4s, nails, sod, marble, and ceiling tiles.

Master carpenter Jay Cryer is best known for his work on local bars Rontom's, The Matchbox, The Meridian, and The Nightlight. He also builds houses and beautiful stack-laminate furniture in the name of art.

When she wasn't tending bar at the airport or refining her own printmaking process, Portland State University (PSU) art student Kate DeVillers was busy learning to manipulate our tedious to deal with sod lawn.

In addition to bringing to the table his skills as a mathematician, philosopher, PSU graduating senior Gabriel Guard also shared with us his indispensable carpentry and team communication abilities.

A Portland-native who regularly shows his artwork in
and around his North Portland neighborhood, PSU Painting/Drawing student Joe Medrano was our always reliable jack of all trades. He specialized in lawn trim.

An intermedia student at Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA), Tara Morte made our ceiling tile and marble walkways lie flat and will be onboard to help with the 1751 Easy Street: Control Burn project.

Amy Reese, Intern/Saw Supervisor/Illustrator
A mother, a full-time student, a set-design intern for a 3D stop-animaton company, with a part time job, Amy Reese gracefully uggled all those balls while training everyone on the chop saw and fixing our art cards.

Kyle Simmons, Intern/Late-Night Pinch Hitter
A social-practice artist, illustrator, curator, and community builder, PSU Art History student Kyle Simmons could always be counted on for much needed late night food runs and to stay till dawn.

Nikki Thomas, Intern/DJ/Lady of the Lath
A PSU Painting/Drawing student who also volunteers two galleries down at Store, Nikki Thomas kept motivating tunes playing, compiled our press list, and laid almost as much lath as everyone combined.
